Background and experience

Lance started his practice in 1995 and joined A.G. Edwards and Sons, a predecessor firm of Wells Fargo Advisors, in 1998.

Having earned his Certified Financial Planner^® certification in 2009, Lance has a process designed to help clients simplify complex financial decisions. He helps clients identify the phase of wealth they are in and analyzes their four cornerstones of wealth: debt management, risk management, estate investment planning strategies, and investment planning strategies. He works together with clients building a wealth plan, identifying risk, setting and prioritizing goals and define attainable objectives. The outcome of his process is a well-defined investment plan that helps a client to understand “why” financial recommendations are being made, including “tradeoffs” so they can make educated decisions and avoid emotional mistakes. This plan is then intended to be the client’s “measuring stick”.


Away from the office

Lance loves spending quality time camping and traveling with his wife, Keri, and their three children, Rylan, Kinzey, and Hadli. Lance has served on the boards of Fellowship of Christian Athletes, Straight Street Ministries, Chattahoochee Baptist Association and North Georgia Community Foundation. He also enjoys hunting and golfing with his dad.

Backed by my mission to offer a personal approach to investing, I help my clients build, manage, preserve and transition wealth. The process is customized and comprehensive because each client and family are unique. Our ultimate goal is to make sure our clients achieve their financial goals. We do this by helping design cost-efficient, long-term diversified investment strategies built within a planning process that is designed to be optimized around their goals. In short, we want clients to be smart with their money.

We believe people have more confidence knowing that they have a plan. We take a comprehensive approach encompassing investment strategies, estate planning strategies, and life/long-term care insurance analysis. A key area of focus is the development of an investment strategy designed to prioritize objectives such as growth, income, stability and liquidity. I feel that having my practice supported by Wells Fargo Advisors, my clients get the best of both worlds - the benefits of a large organization combined with personal attention and advice from me and my team of financial professionals.

It was an honor to be named to 2022 Wells Fargo Advisors Platinum Council. The Platinum Council distinction is held by a select group of Financial Advisors within Wells Fargo Advisors as measured by one or more of the following: completion of educational components, business production from the previous year, and professionalism. Additional consideration may have included best practices and team structure.

A 1980 graduate of UGA, I began my career as a Financial Advisor in 1982. I have served as a Deacon at Perimeter Church and am active developing youth through sports.

Background and Experience
Karen graduated from Georgia Southern University in 1992 with a Bachelor of Science degree, where she developed a strong foundation in client engagement and service—skills that have been instrumental throughout her professional journey in banking and client support.

Karen began her financial services career with Wells Fargo Bank, N.A. in April 2011 as a Teller, where she quickly distinguished herself through her dedication to customer service and operational excellence. Her strong performance and client-focused approach led to her promotion to Personal Banker, where she managed a diverse portfolio of clients and small business owners.

In her role as a Personal Banker, Karen consistently exceeded performance goals and was recognized for her ability to build lasting client relationships. She helped provide tailored financial solutions—including account openings, loans, and credit services—while maintaining a strong focus on customer satisfaction and trust.

Karen’s outstanding contributions were honored with the Wells Fargo Golden Spoke Award when she was employed by Wells Fargo Bank, N.A.

Focus
In January 2025, Karen joined Wells Fargo Advisors as a Client Associate. As the first point of contact in the office, she plays a key role in creating a welcoming environment and supporting a wide range of operational and administrative needs. Her top priority is to help ensure that every client feels valued, supported, and confident in the care they receive.

Away from the Office
Outside the office, Karen enjoys spending quality time with her husband and family, along with their spirited Cockapoo puppy, Ollie, who has brought joyful energy into their home. She also loves traveling and immersing herself in the culture and cuisine of each destination she visits. Time spent with friends is also an important and fulfilling part of her life.
